About the role
Misfits Market — the mission-driven grocery startup fighting food waste — is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver out of its Hanover, MD facility. You'll move freight and customer orders from fulfillment centers to cross-docks for last-mile delivery, operating a company tractor-trailer on designated routes with a focus on safety and on-time performance. Schedule is Sunday–Thursday with varying start times, paying $30/hour with full benefits and a $1,200 annual Misfits grocery credit. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Operate a company Class A tractor-trailer in line with all DOT and Misfits safety standards
- Transport freight and customer orders from fulfillment centers to cross-docks
- Complete accurate delivery logs, invoices, inspections and hours-of-service records
- Keep open communication with dispatch, warehouse and leadership; report delays promptly
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record (licensed driver for 3+ years)
- Valid DOT medical card and DOT registration
- 2 years tractor-trailer experience or graduation from a state-certified truck driving school
- At least 21 years old and authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship)
- Willing to complete a pre-employment DOT drug test and work occasional weekends
