About the role
Richards Building Supply is hiring a full-time CDL Class B Truck Driver out of its Winston-Salem, NC branch to run local delivery routes, haul building materials to job sites, and help load and unload the warehouse -- home every night with steady daytime hours.
Responsibilities
- Drive assigned routes to deliver building-supply materials safely to customer job sites
- Hand-unload and place materials exactly where customers need them
- Receive incoming warehouse shipments and help load outgoing trucks
- Keep inventory records accurate as materials move in and out
- Lift and carry 50-100 lb. loads throughout the shift
Requirements
- CDL Class B with air brake endorsement (or CDL Class A)
- At least 1 year of Class B driving experience, or 2 years of Class A experience
- Flatbed, Moffett, or Laddervator experience is a plus
- Valid DOT medical card and a clean driving record
- Minimum age 21
- Able to repeatedly lift 50-100 lbs.
- Must pass a background check and DOT drug screen
