About the role
A fast-growing commercial HVAC/R service company is hiring an experienced technician in Savannah, GA to diagnose and repair commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems, with pay up to $45/hour, health coverage starting day one, and a clear path for internal advancement.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and calibrate commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment in the field
- Work independently and as part of a team on customer sites
- Maintain a stocked, ready service vehicle and keep tools in working order
- Respond to after-hours, weekend, and emergency service calls as needed
- Pursue ongoing technical training and certifications to grow within the company
Requirements
- Universal EPA Section 608 certification required
- Valid driver's license required
- 2+ years of commercial HVAC experience; refrigeration experience preferred
- Able to read HVAC schematics and work plans
- Must pass a background check; able to lift 75 lbs, work at heights up to 45 feet, and work in extreme temperatures/confined spaces
