About the role
Sila Services is hiring a hands-on boiler installer to replace and install residential gas and oil boilers across the Stoneham, MA area — working on hydronic heating systems, pumps, piping, and controls, bringing older and high-efficiency boilers up to code.
Responsibilities
- Install and replace residential gas- and oil-fired boilers
- Work on both high-efficiency and conventional boiler systems
- Complete full boiler changeouts and system upgrades
- Install and service hydronic heating components: pumps, piping, and controls
- Set up equipment to manufacturer specifications and local code requirements
- Perform system start-ups and verify proper operation
- Diagnose and resolve installation issues on site
- Walk homeowners through how their new system works
- Keep accurate job documentation and an organized work area
Requirements
- 3+ years of residential HVAC/heating installation experience preferred
- Hands-on boiler installation experience required
- Experience with gas and/or oil-fired boilers
- Working knowledge of hydronic piping and heating systems
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting ability
- EPA 608 certification preferred
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
