About the role
Glasco Heating & Air Conditioning, a Connecticut HVAC company under the Sila Services family of brands, is hiring a full-time Warehouse Associate for its South Windsor location. The job blends warehouse upkeep — receiving and organizing incoming inventory and staging parts for upcoming jobs — with local runs delivering equipment and materials out to active job sites, paying $20–$27 an hour depending on experience.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and organize incoming inventory and parts shipments
- Pull and stage equipment, tools, and materials needed for scheduled HVAC jobs
- Drive out to active job sites to deliver equipment, parts, and materials to field crews
- Track inventory levels and help keep stock counts accurate
- Process returned equipment and materials
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe
- Coordinate with field technicians on what they need and when
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Prior experience in a warehouse, shipping/receiving, delivery, construction, or HVAC-related role is a plus, not required
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently and reliably with minimal supervision
- Able to safely lift and move HVAC equipment and materials
- Forklift certification is a plus, not required
- Basic comfort with inventory-tracking software/systems
