About the role
BitGo, a major digital asset custody and prime brokerage firm, is looking for an Associate to join its Ecosystem Sales team in New York. Working alongside the Head of Ecosystem, this person will help manage relationships with token projects, DeFi protocols, and blockchain foundations that rely on BitGo's custody, trading, staking, and lending infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Support the Head of Ecosystem in managing an active portfolio of client relationships across the Americas and Europe
- Put together client-facing materials — presentations, proposals, deal memos — and rally internal teams to keep deals moving
- Monitor and analyze trends across the broader crypto market to surface new partnership opportunities
- Help shape new services aimed at developers and early-stage crypto startups
- Own the operational side of ecosystem accounts: contracting, billing, and administrative follow-through
- Build working fluency across BitGo's product suite — custody, trading, staking, lending, and DeFi — to speak knowledgeably with clients
- Serve as a go-to contact for clients working through trading, lending, operations, compliance, or support issues
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in a client-facing business role
- At least 2 years working directly in the cryptocurrency or digital assets industry
- Real, demonstrated interest in crypto — comfortable discussing L1s, L2s, DeFi, GameFi, and DePIN
- Analytical, data-driven approach to prioritizing opportunities
- Able to perform well in a competitive, fast-paced environment
- Willing to work on-site in New York five days a week
- Nice to have: existing relationships with coin foundations, token projects, or VC firms
- Nice to have: prior startup experience or background in financial markets, custody, prime brokerage, lending, or trading
