About the role
Bethesda Health Group — a St. Louis non-profit caring for seniors for 135+ years — is hiring a full-time day-shift Certified Nursing Assistant at Barnes Jewish Extended Care. You'll provide hands-on resident care: hygiene, nutrition, ambulation, vitals and safety, all under the direction of the Charge Nurse. Pay is $16.08–$25.24/hour with daily-pay access, bonuses, holiday pay and clear career-advancement opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Provide resident care: hygiene, nutrition, ambulation, elimination and safety
- Take and accurately record vital signs and weights; report to the Charge Nurse
- Turn and reposition residents on schedule; answer call lights promptly
- Measure and document intake/output and complete assigned rounds
- Document care in the resident record and give shift report
Requirements
- Active Certified Nurse Assistant certification in Missouri
- CPR certification (or willing to obtain within six months)
- High school diploma preferred; long-term care experience preferred
- Able to stand/walk for long periods and safely transfer residents 200+ lbs with assistance
