About the role
Spectrum Association Management, an HOA management firm operating across Texas and Arizona, is looking for people who want a real career change into community management — no HOA background required. You'll go through a full year of structured, paid training and mentorship before stepping into an independent portfolio, with hybrid work available after year one.
Responsibilities
- Respond to residents same-day, every time
- Serve as the go-to contact for board members and homeowners
- Handle the daily, weekly, and monthly work across a portfolio of associations
- Plan and run board and annual meetings
- Manage vendor relations, bidding, and project oversight
- Build budgets and manage community finances
- Take rotating after-hours emergency calls
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional work experience in any industry — no HOA background needed
- Strong organizational skills in a fast-moving environment
- Comfortable with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Confident communicating with the public and handling conflict
- Basic familiarity with financial statements and budgets
- Valid driver's license and state-minimum auto insurance
- Able to commute daily to the Plano office during year one of training
