About the role
Mesh, a crypto payments infrastructure company backed by PayPal Ventures, Paradigm, and Galaxy Ventures, is hiring a senior Full Stack Web3 Engineer for its San Francisco hub. You'll help build the orchestration engine and consumer app that let people pay and get paid with any tokenized asset, working end-to-end across frontend, backend, and on-chain components.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and run production Web3 systems that handle real customer funds and assets at scale
- Own features end-to-end across frontend, backend, and on-chain layers based on your strengths
- Lead the design of complex flows spanning wallets, transactions, settlement, and orchestration
- Work closely with product, design, and outside partners to turn open-ended requirements into solid technical solutions
- Strengthen the reliability, security, and performance of distributed and on-chain systems
- Mentor fellow engineers and help shape architecture reviews and technical direction
- Help set the roadmap and lead large-scale technical initiatives across teams
Requirements
- 3-6 years of full-stack Web3 engineering experience, with production work spanning frontend, backend, and on-chain components
- Hands-on experience with Web3 building blocks such as wallet connectivity, dApp development, blockchain RPCs/indexing, or on-chain/off-chain payment and settlement flows
- Familiarity with DeFi primitives (DEXs, swaps, lending, trading platforms) in real-world systems
- Experience with modern frontend frameworks (TypeScript, React, Redux) and/or backend services (C#, Node.js, Go, Java or similar); Solidity or Solana/Anchor/Web3.js experience is a plus
- Strong understanding of the transaction lifecycle (signing, submission, execution) with a security-first mindset
- Solid grounding in building scalable, observable distributed systems
- Willingness to work from Mesh's San Francisco or New York hub roughly two days a week
