About the role
Bold, a healthy-aging platform for Medicare members, is hiring a Medical Assistant / Care Coordinator for its new virtual clinic. You'll run telehealth intake appointments, coordinate scheduling, labs, and prescriptions, and keep patients engaged in their care plans. Fully remote and full-time — a great fit for a certified MA who's organized, empathetic, and comfortable with a high volume of patient interactions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct telehealth intake appointments to assess patient goals and complete clinical screenings
- Manage the full telehealth scheduling lifecycle plus lab orders, prescriptions, and EHR upkeep
- Coach patients through their care plans with outreach by call, text, and email
- Resolve patient barriers — tech issues, insurance questions, care hesitancy — and escalate as needed
- Partner with clinical and operations teams to improve patient flow
Requirements
- Current national Medical Assistant certification (CCMA, CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
- 3+ years in direct patient care, care coordination, or digital health
- Strong communication skills and a track record of hitting patient-engagement KPIs
- Proficiency with EHR/CRM, scheduling, and telehealth tools
- Based in the USA; bilingual (Spanish) a plus
