About the role
USA Clinics Group is hiring a full-time Medical Assistant to float across its Skokie, Elmwood Park, and Belmont clinic locations in the Chicago area. You'll room patients, run basic clinical tasks like phlebotomy and EKGs, and help keep a high-volume vein and vascular clinic moving smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Greet and room patients, setting a welcoming tone for each visit
- Take vital signs and document patient information in the EMR
- Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection as part of routine care
- Manage a high volume of patient interactions in a fast-paced clinic
- Support multilingual patients when needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–2 years of hands-on clinical experience as a Medical Assistant or similar role
- Demonstrated skill with vital signs, patient rooming, phlebotomy, and EKGs
- CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification preferred
- Strong patient-facing customer service skills
