About the role
Interpath Laboratory, a family-owned Pacific Northwest lab with 90+ locations, is hiring a full-time Phlebotomist/Processor to float across its Bellevue, WA coverage area. You'll split your time between drawing and processing patient specimens and handling front-desk customer service, Monday through Friday with hours that flex to patient flow.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and collect additional specimen types as needed
- Process and prepare samples for lab testing
- Manage patient data and specimen information accurately
- Package specimens for referral labs while preserving sample integrity
- Handle phones and front-desk customer service between draws
- Follow safety and HIPAA protocols at all times
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Washington Medical Assistant-Phlebotomy (MA-P) certification required
- 6+ months of phlebotomy experience strongly preferred
- Valid, unrestricted driver's license with a clean driving record
- Able to lift up to 30 lbs and work extended hours as coverage requires
- Reliable attendance across multiple float locations
