About the role
Interpath Laboratory — a family-owned Pacific Northwest lab with 90+ locations — is hiring a full-time Phlebotomist/Processor in Eugene, OR. You'll draw blood, collect and process specimens, handle data entry and customer service, and keep samples lab-ready while following safety and HIPAA standards. Schedule is Monday–Friday day shift with a rotating quarterly Saturday. Pay is $18.98–$25.69/hour DOE, with benefits and free in-house lab testing.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and collect additional specimen types
- Receive, process and package samples while maintaining specimen integrity
- Verify specimen information and perform accurate data entry
- Provide customer service, answer phones and monitor instrument alarms
- Follow safety, HIPAA and Medicare compliance protocols
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of on-the-job phlebotomy experience (or two terms of coursework + six months hands-on)
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Based within commuting distance of Eugene, OR; able to lift up to 30 lbs
