About the role
myLaurel Health, a virtual acute-care nursing team supporting patients recovering at home after a hospital or ER visit, is hiring a fully remote Registered Nurse, Care Manager. You'll deliver real-time clinical support by phone and video to patients around the country from a home-based, HIPAA-compliant workspace.
Responsibilities
- Provide virtual, patient-centered clinical support to patients recovering at home
- Triage incoming patient concerns using evidence-based clinical protocols
- Offer patient education and reassurance, and escalate urgent issues as needed
- Coordinate lab follow-ups and referrals with the broader care team
- Document each patient interaction accurately in the EMR
- Collaborate closely with advanced practice providers and operations staff
Requirements
- Active RN license in a Compact State
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- At least 3 years of post-licensure clinical experience
- Hospital-based nursing background; Emergency Department experience strongly preferred
- Strong EMR proficiency and general tech comfort
- A quiet, HIPAA-compliant home workspace with reliable internet
- Availability for weekend/holiday shifts (five 8-hour shifts; 3 PM–11 PM ET preferred)
- Eligible to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship
