About the role
Spend your summer doing nursing that feels rewarding. CCRES, a Chester County non-profit, is hiring a Summer Camp Nurse (RN or LPN) for Camino Farms in Bally, PA. You'll be the go-to medical presence for campers and staff — medication administration, first aid and health paperwork in a friendly outdoor camp setting. Camp runs Monday–Friday from June 22 through August 14, with two weeks of around-the-clock coverage in late July and early August; overnight nurses get on-site sleeping accommodations. 1099 seasonal role paying $30–$38/hour by license and experience.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and provide general first aid for campers and staff
- Keep camper medical forms current and accurate
- Follow all Camino Farms safety protocols for participants, volunteers and staff
- Take part in mandatory staff meetings
Requirements
- Valid PA license as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- PA Child Abuse (Act 151) clearance
- PA Criminal (Act 34) clearance
- PA Department of Human Services FBI clearance
- Education documentation — diploma or official transcripts
- Availability June 22–August 14 (Mon–Fri), plus overnight coverage weeks of July 27 and August 3
