About the role
Vetster is looking for veterinarians licensed in Rhode Island to see patients by video on its telehealth marketplace. This is flexible independent-contractor work you can fit around a main job, with pay per appointment. Experience with exotic species is a plus for Vetster's PetSmart partnership, but dog-and-cat vets are welcome.
Responsibilities
- Run virtual video appointments with pet owners on the Vetster platform
- Give clinical assessments, triage guidance and treatment recommendations within your scope and state rules
- Complete accurate, timely medical records for every appointment
- Deliver a clear, compassionate client experience
- Follow Vetster's standards of care and platform policies
Requirements
- DVM or VMD licensed and in good standing in Rhode Island
- Genuine interest in telemedicine and digital veterinary care
- Exotic-species experience (small mammals, birds, reptiles and similar) is a plus, not required
- Comfort creating a free Vetster for Veterinary Partners account to get started
