About the role
Philz Coffee is hiring Baristas across its San Francisco locations (Mission Bay, Chase Center, Castro, Embarcadero, Financial District, Noe Valley, Potrero, Russian Hill and more). No experience needed — if you love people and want to learn, they'll teach you the craft. You'll make drinks, prep food orders, run the register, and help build the warm, community-first Philz experience. Base pay is $20.50–$21.50/hour plus a tip pool averaging about $7/hour more.
Responsibilities
- Craft drinks and prepare food orders
- Work the register and deliver warm, personal customer service
- Clean, stock and keep the café running smoothly with your team
Requirements
- A passion for people and willingness to learn (no barista experience required)
- 18 years or older; able to commit to at least 6 consecutive months
- Able to stand for 3+ hours and lift up to 50 lbs intermittently
- Typical schedule of ~16–24 hours/week
