About the role
Level99 Entertainment is hiring a Line Cook for its Tysons, VA venue — a large-scale indoor entertainment space built around more than 50 life-sized mini-games, paired with a full-service bar and in-house restaurant known for scratch cooking, local craft beer, and handmade cocktails. The Line Cook keeps that kitchen running, turning out menu items to recipe and keeping the space clean and organized through evening, weekend, and holiday rushes.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and plate menu items to Level99's recipes and specifications
- Work with speed and accuracy to hit ticket times during service
- Accommodate reasonable guest requests on dishes
- Communicate ordering and stocking needs clearly to the rest of the kitchen team
- Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and sanitized at every stage of service
- Follow health and sanitation codes consistently, regardless of how busy the shift gets
- Bring a positive, approachable attitude to a fast-paced, team-based kitchen
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–2 years of line cook or prep cook experience in a high-volume food service setting
- Able to work efficiently under pressure as the kitchen environment shifts
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Working knowledge of health and sanitation codes
- Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Able to stand/walk for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work shifts of 10+ hours
- Multilingual ability and a hospitality or culinary degree are a plus, not required
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. — Level99 is an E-Verify employer
