About the role
Foundation Partners Group is hiring a full-time Crematory Operator at Musgrove Family Care Center in Eugene, Oregon. You will receive remains, run the cremation process with care and complete the paperwork, and return cremated remains to families or funeral homes.
Responsibilities
- Care for the deceased respectfully through every step of the cremation process
- Maintain the crematorium, equipment and adjacent areas
- Receive remains and confirm documentation and visual identification
- Prioritize and complete multiple tasks promptly
- Follow universal precautions and safe work practices
- Release cremated remains to funeral homes or family members
- Assist with transporting the deceased when needed
Requirements
- At least 21 years old
- Crematory operator certification preferred
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to safely lift 100 lb
- Strong attention to detail, compassion and communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
