About the role
Comprehensive Mobile Care brings dental and other health services directly to seniors and underserved communities across more than 20 states, and its Oakland team is hiring a full-time Dental Assistant to help keep that mission running smoothly. You'll work chairside with the dentist across a steady, weekday-only caseload — no evenings, no weekends — supporting exams and procedures for patients who might otherwise go without care.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist directly during patient exams and procedures
- Set up and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments between appointments
- Check patients in and keep clinical documentation accurate and current
- Uphold infection-control and sterilization protocols throughout the day
- Work closely with the rest of the on-site clinical team to keep patient flow on schedule
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant
- A current radiation certificate
- Comfort and experience working with senior patients is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and a patient-first communication style
- A valid driver's license
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
