Leading Edge Specialized Dentistry is hiring a Dental Assistant to support its oral surgery team in Syosset, NY. You'll be the steady hand chairside during procedures — prepping patients, running imaging, and keeping the room running on strict infection-control standards — with both full-time and part-time schedules available and a $3,000 welcome bonus for full-time hires.
Responsibilities
- Welcome patients and support oral surgeons chairside during procedures
- Capture digital radiographs and intraoral scans
- Sterilize instruments and sanitize operatories between patients
- Maintain strict infection-control and OSHA compliance standards
- Educate patients on post-procedure oral hygiene
- Help with general office tasks as needed
Requirements
- Prior dental assisting experience required
- State-required certification/licensure for assigned duties
- Consistent work history
- Strong interpersonal and patient-communication skills
