Carriage Services is hiring a licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer for Becker-Ritter Funeral Home in Brookfield, Wisconsin. You will arrange personalized services with families, embalm on first-call, and take part in community events.
Responsibilities
- Meet with families to plan personalized memorial services
- Complete documents on time per laws and regulations
- Conduct and attend services regularly
- Work on-call and first-call, embalming in the care center
- Use company software for merchandise, contracts and forms
- Lead staff to keep service standards high
- Join community groups and events
Requirements
- At least 2 years as a licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer
- Valid Wisconsin Funeral Director/Embalmer license
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Willingness to grow the market through community involvement
- Ability to lift up to 75 lb (occasionally 100 lb) and work around chemicals and bloodborne pathogens
