About the role
Spring Hill Funeral Home, part of NorthStar Memorial Group and serving Nashville families since 1780, is hiring a Funeral Home Manager to lead a high-volume, recently remodeled location (600+ calls a year, with an on-site cemetery). Tennessee funeral director and embalmer licensure (or reciprocity eligibility) is required.
Responsibilities
- Direct day-to-day operations, financial performance, and long-term growth of the funeral home
- Build a respectful, communicative, accountable, service-driven team culture
- Drive case volume and revenue goals while maintaining expense discipline
- Engage the community through outreach, events, and partnerships with churches, hospitals, and nursing homes
- Hire, coach, and motivate a team to consistently exceed family expectations
Requirements
- Licensed Funeral Director & Embalmer in Tennessee, or eligible for reciprocity
- 5+ years of experience in the funeral profession or a related field
- 2+ years of leadership experience with a track record of building strong teams
- An entrepreneurial, ownership mindset
