About the role
Mallory Alexander International Logistics is hiring an experienced iSeries (AS/400) developer to support, enhance, and maintain the warehouse management systems that run its logistics operations on the IBM i platform. You'll work on-site in Memphis alongside operations and IT teams, with occasional after-hours support when production needs it.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain warehouse management (WMS) applications on IBM i (AS/400)
- Design and modify RPG, RPGLE, CL, SQL, and DB2 programs
- Support WMS integrations with ERP systems, RF devices, barcode scanners, and third-party providers
- Troubleshoot production issues and take part in upgrades and testing
- Write technical documentation and identify process improvements with warehouse teams
- Monitor system performance
Requirements
- 3+ years of IBM i (iSeries/AS-400) development experience
- Strong RPG IV / RPGLE, CL, SQL, and DB2 skills
- Warehouse-management system development or support experience
- Working knowledge of inventory, shipping, receiving, and distribution processes
- Exposure to EDI, APIs, or system integration
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or Information Systems preferred
