About the role
Otterbein SeniorLife is hiring a full-time LPN for its North Olmsted assisted living community. You'll direct day-to-day resident care and work alongside physicians and the care team, with an emphasis on treating elders with dignity and autonomy rather than running a purely clinical checklist. Shifts run 7am–3pm and 3pm–11pm, with a pay differential for second shift.
Responsibilities
- Direct and deliver hands-on nursing care for assisted living residents
- Coordinate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team on treatment plans
- Support residents' autonomy and decision-making in their own care
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow long-term-care protocols
- Uphold a high standard of compassionate, dignity-first resident care
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved nursing program
- Valid Ohio LPN license and current CPR certification
- 6+ months of direct-care nursing experience preferred
- Long-term care background preferred
