About the role
Willamette Dental is hiring a Pediatric Dentist for its Liberty (Salem) and Lents (Southeast Portland) practices in Oregon. Practicing within an evidence-based, prevention-focused model, you'll diagnose and treat oral health conditions in infants, children and teens, providing varying levels of anesthesia including general anesthesia in a hospital setting. The role runs a rotating schedule (4 days/40 hrs at Liberty, then 3 days/30 hrs at Lents) and pays $262,500–$350,000/year depending on production.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat dental conditions in infants, children and teenagers
- Provide local, nitrous oxide and general anesthesia (hospital setting)
- Apply evidence-based, prevention-focused care (CAMBRA/PEMBRA) and risk assessment
- Document all care accurately in AxiUm electronic records
Requirements
- DMD/DDS (or BDS) plus a certificate or MSD in Pediatric Dentistry; board certified or eligible
- Valid Oregon licensure, DEA registration and BLS certification
- Sedation permit (or state equivalent) and appropriate anesthesia certifications
