About the role
VocoVision has a 1099 contract opening for a sign language interpreter to support students and staff through telehealth in a school setting. The work is remote and based in the Denver, Colorado area, with flexible scheduling.
Responsibilities
- Interpret accurately between sign language and spoken English during telehealth sessions
- Work with educators and healthcare providers so communication access is effective
- Follow confidentiality and ethical standards in every assignment
- Keep up with interpreting best practices and telehealth technologies
Requirements
- Proven experience as a sign language interpreter, ideally in educational or telehealth settings
- Proficiency in American Sign Language
- Comfort with telehealth platforms and protocols
- Ability to work independently as a 1099 contractor
