About the role
Tidepoint Healthcare Staffing is placing an experienced Emergency Room RN on a 12-week travel contract at a hospital in Lake Forest, Illinois, with a projected November 9, 2026 start. The role runs a mid shift at roughly 36 hours a week and comes with competitive weekly pay plus a full travel-nurse benefits package.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct emergency department nursing care across a fast-paced mid-shift rotation, averaging about 36 hours per week
- Triage, assess, and treat patients presenting with a wide range of acute and emergent conditions
- Respond to cardiac and pediatric emergencies using current life-support protocols
- Coordinate care with ED physicians, techs, and the broader hospital care team during a 12-week assignment
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in line with facility standards
Requirements
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse license (or compact license valid in Illinois)
- Current BCLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
- Prior hands-on Emergency Room clinical experience
- Willingness to commit to a 12-week travel assignment starting on/around November 9, 2026
