About the role
Dutch is recruiting licensed veterinarians for its telemedicine team as independent contractors, with this opening covering Louisiana, Tennessee, and Wyoming. You'll handle video and asynchronous-message consults from home, prescribe when clinically appropriate, and set your own schedule — most vets on the platform work about 10-15 hours a week, often evenings or weekends.

- Review medical history and treatment concerns to judge whether a case is appropriate for telemedicine
- Establish a valid veterinarian-client-patient relationship where required before treating
- Recommend evidence-based treatment plans and issue prescriptions when clinically appropriate
- Document every encounter in Dutch's EMR
- Loop in Dutch's clinical leadership team on complex or escalated cases
Requirements
- Graduate of an AVMA-accredited veterinary school, or equivalent U.S. practice eligibility
- Active veterinary license in good standing in Louisiana, Tennessee, Wyoming, or another state where Dutch operates, with no malpractice or disciplinary history
