About the role
Four Hands, a home-furnishings distributor based in Central Texas, is looking for a dependable Night Shift Warehouse Associate to keep its Buda, TX distribution center running through the overnight hours. You'll work hands-on with inbound and outbound freight — scanning, staging, and verifying product — while helping catch discrepancies before they become problems. It's a physical, fast-moving role for someone who takes pride in accuracy and doesn't mind a 5 PM to 2 AM schedule.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload trailers, containers, and staging areas as freight moves in and out
- Run threshold scans to keep inventory checkpoints accurate
- Double-check lane assignments so product lands in the right staging spot
- Stage both received and outbound product according to standard procedures
- Catch and resolve discrepancies between what's scanned and what's on hand
- Keep scanning records current throughout each product's movement
- Maintain organized, clearly labeled, and accessible staging lanes
- Flag issues or delays to a supervisor right away
- Pitch in on process-improvement efforts as they come up
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse or distribution center
- High school diploma or GED
- Comfortable with basic computer tools (warehouse management systems, Excel, Outlook)
- Able to lift 50 lbs solo and help move up to 225 lbs with assistance
- Able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, push, and reach continuously through an 8-hour shift
- Open to working overtime when needed
- Steel-toed boots or shoes required
