About the role
Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group is hiring an Assistant Audio & MIT Technician for the Blue Man Group North American touring production. You'll support the Head of Audio and MIT in keeping the show's sound systems, instruments, and playback gear running night after night across a full touring schedule — a hands-on fit for someone who wants live production experience with a world-touring show rather than a single venue.

- Set up, tune, maintain, and repair musical instruments and playback systems
- Operate the sound console for performances and rehearsals
- Maintain in-ear mixes and playback systems, and execute show cues and system checks
- Take part in venue load-in/load-out and equipment transport
- Adapt mixes to each venue's acoustics while keeping sound consistent night to night
- Run preventative maintenance and inspections, and keep repair/inventory logs
- Follow safety policies for audio and electrical systems and coordinate with crew and performers
Requirements
- 2-3 years of live sound engineering or instrument technology experience (theatre, concerts, or touring)
- Working knowledge of digital mixing consoles, microphones, and in-ear monitoring systems
- Instrument maintenance knowledge (percussion, string, or electronic)
- Audio networking and RF coordination experience preferred
- Able to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work extended hours
- Eligible to work in the US and willing to travel domestically for the full tour
What we offer
- Benefits provided during active tour periods
- Hands-on experience with a major international touring production
