About the role
Christ Fellowship, a South Florida multi-campus church, is hiring a full-time Audio Visual Technician to run production equipment and technical support across breakouts, classes, trainings, events, and weekend services. You'll travel between campuses, set up AV gear both indoors and out, and partner with campus production managers to keep every event running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Operate production equipment and provide technical support for breakouts, classes, trainings, events, and weekend services
- Set up, manage, and troubleshoot AV equipment for conference rooms and classrooms
- Set up audio and video equipment for outdoor events
- Partner with campus Production Managers during weekend services and events
- Attend staff and debrief meetings
- Complete quality reports after events and services
- Travel between multiple Christ Fellowship campuses as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-2 years of experience with AV equipment in a theater or event setting, or a related degree
- Basic understanding of signal flow
- Working knowledge of stage management, safety, electrical/cable paths, and equipment storage
- Experience troubleshooting laptops, desktops, conference displays, and projectors
- Basic install and configuration skills for Mac/PC, network, and server hardware and OS
- Able to lift and move 50+ lbs and help set up stage, audio, video, and lighting equipment
- Available for occasional evening, weekend, and holiday work
