About the role
Churchfront, a national church AVL integrator, is hiring an AVL Consultant in Melbourne, FL to carry church audio, video, and lighting projects from design through installation, training, and long-term support. You'll manage 6–10 active integration projects, serve as each church's single point of contact, and equip volunteer tech teams to own their systems. It's a client-facing role for someone who knows house-of-worship AVL and loves keeping projects — and people — on track.
Responsibilities
- Own delivery of 6–10 AVL integration projects from design through stabilization
- Serve as the primary contact for church clients, keeping leadership informed on status and timelines
- Coordinate across Design, Production, and Operations to hit scope, timeline, and budget
- Lead client-facing commissioning — training tech directors and volunteers and documenting system configurations
- Run remote support and coaching calls to help churches troubleshoot AVL issues after install
- Develop training videos, guides, and courses that equip church tech teams
Requirements
- Strong working knowledge of audio, video, and lighting systems in a house-of-worship or live-event setting
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, and deliverables at once
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to pastors, administrators, and volunteers
- Experience with remote troubleshooting and client-facing support
- Background as a technical director, AVL lead, or systems engineer; AVIXA CTS certification a plus
