About the role
vRad, a large US teleradiology practice, is hiring full-time overnight radiologists to read emergent studies from home. Shifts run 8 hours between 6 PM and 6 AM on a 7-on/7-off or 7-on/14-off rotation, with no call.
Responsibilities
- Interpret emergent diagnostic imaging, mostly ED CT and X-ray, from a home workstation
- Communicate critical findings to referring physicians
- Take part in peer review
- Work with operations and IT support teams and keep compliant documentation
Requirements
- MD or DO
- ABR or AOBR board certification (board-eligible acceptable if finishing training)
- Eligible for US licensure; multi-state licensure preferred
- Fellowship not required
