About the role
Easterseals of Southeastern Pennsylvania is hiring a full-time Physical Therapist to serve infants, toddlers, and preschoolers with developmental needs across its Early Intervention and Preschool Special Education programs, based out of its Philadelphia location and serving Montgomery County. You'll evaluate and treat children in center-based, community, and home settings, building individualized therapy plans tied to IEP/IFSP goals and coaching families along the way. A Pennsylvania PT license is required, and the role comes with Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) eligibility as a nonprofit position.
Responsibilities
- Deliver hands-on physical therapy to children ages 0-2 (early intervention) and preschoolers with special needs across center-based, community, and home settings in Montgomery County
- Conduct evaluations and build individualized treatment plans aligned with each child's IEP/IFSP goals
- Support gross motor development, mobility, strength, and participation in daily and educational activities
- Coach caregivers on carrying over therapy strategies at home
- Document progress and adjust interventions as each child's needs evolve
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary educational and clinical team on care planning
Requirements
- Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy
- Active Pennsylvania Physical Therapy License
- Experience with pediatric or early-childhood populations preferred
- Strong communication and family-engagement skills
- Comfortable working across center-based, community, and home-visit settings
- Background check required
