About the role
BAYADA Home Health Care is looking for a caring, dependable Home Health Aide to join its Assistive Care State Programs (ACSP) team serving clients in and around Concord, in the Charlotte metro area. You'll work one-on-one with clients in their homes, following a nurse-directed care plan, in a part-time role that offers flexible hours and hands-on training even if you're new to caregiving.
Responsibilities
- Support clients with daily personal care routines such as bathing, grooming, oral care, toileting, and nail care
- Help maintain a clean, safe home by doing light housekeeping, laundry, and making beds
- Prepare meals and assist clients with eating as needed
- Assist with light exercise and safe movement around the home
- Remind clients to take medications as scheduled
Requirements
- Prior experience in home care or patient care is a plus but not required — training is provided
- A genuine interest in caregiving and helping others live comfortably at home
- Reliable transportation to travel between client homes
- Dependable, compassionate approach to one-on-one client care
