About the role

Boulder Care, an award-winning digital addiction-medicine clinic, is hiring experienced Nurse Practitioners for fully remote, W2 roles delivering medication for opioid use disorder (MOUD). You'll independently initiate and manage buprenorphine treatment within a structured, team-supported, harm-reduction model — meeting patients where they are with non-judgmental, autonomy-first care. Full-time means 30–40 hours/week with fixed weekday schedules. Compensation is $130k–$140k (up to $145k in high-cost markets), and Boulder covers licensure, DEA, malpractice and credentialing.

Responsibilities

  • Independently initiate and manage buprenorphine-based treatment for opioid use disorder
  • Deliver fully virtual, evidence-based outpatient care within a multidisciplinary team
  • Apply harm-reduction principles and shared decision-making to support patient goals
  • Maintain a HIPAA-compliant home workspace and consistent weekday availability

Requirements

  • Active NP license and residence in one of: AK, AZ, CO, FL, ID, IL, KS, MA, MD, MN, NC, NH, NM, NV, NY, OH, OR, VA, WA, WY
  • Independent-practice authority where required (FL, IL, MA, MN, VA)
  • 2 years regularly prescribing and initiating buprenorphine in an independent outpatient setting
  • Strong autonomous, patient-centered practice (note: PA-Cs and CNSs not eligible)
