About the role
Alignerr wants native Korean speakers living in the US to test an AI receptionist built for clinics and hospitals. You play a patient from a provided fictional persona, hold short spoken calls in Korean with the AI, then grade how well it understood you and whether it took the right action, such as booking an appointment or checking insurance. The work is task-based freelance contracting, fully remote and on your own schedule, advertised at $12–$40 an hour. New contributors first pass a short unpaid qualification test before moving to paid work.
Responsibilities
- Hold 4–5 minute spoken conversations in Korean with an AI front-desk assistant while playing a fictional patient
- Use natural trigger phrases to check that the AI makes the right calls, such as looking up a record, booking a visit or verifying insurance
- Review transcripts and rate how accurately the AI understood and replied
- Flag mispronunciations, cutoffs, interruptions, delays and wrong actions with timestamps
- Test background noise, short replies, long numbers, emotional moments and unsafe requests
- Follow detailed labeling guidelines consistently
Requirements
- Native or near-native Korean speaker with a clear, natural voice, based in the United States
- Patience to review recordings and transcripts closely
- Comfortable role-playing a patient convincingly
- Quiet space, a good microphone, stable internet and a second device for playing background noise
- Nice to have: voice AI evaluation, annotation or QA experience; healthcare admin or call-center background; command of Korean speech levels and how numbers are read aloud; Korean medical terminology
