About the role
Link Rehab and Wellness is hiring a Lead Physical Therapist Assistant to run day-to-day clinical operations for its onsite therapy team at an assisted living facility in Spring Lake, NJ. It's a hands-on treatment role with real leadership scope — managing caseloads and staff coverage — and a clear path toward further management responsibility.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage patient caseloads in coordination with the facility's therapy team
- Oversee day-to-day staff scheduling and coverage for the onsite PT team
- Maintain strong working relationships with center/facility management
- Retrieve physician scripts and orders needed to begin or continue treatment
- Complete evaluations, treatment notes, progress reports, recertifications, and discharge documentation to CMS standards
- Carry out treatment programs designed under physician direction
- Collaborate across disciplines to keep patient care coordinated
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program or university
- Valid, active New Jersey PTA license and registration
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Comfortable managing both direct patient care and team coordination responsibilities
