About the role
Parsley Health, a membership-based functional medicine practice, is hiring a part-time Certified Phlebotomist to support blood draws and specimen collection at its New York City center. The role runs three mornings a week and blends hands-on clinical work with light front-office support in a small, fast-moving wellness clinic.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and specimen collection for patients, verifying identity and paperwork before each draw
- Label, package, and prepare samples for shipment to external labs, and handle courier drop-offs
- Keep exam rooms and lab supplies stocked, organized, and compliant with clinic standards
- Help open and close the clinic and support patient flow during morning hours
- Walk patients through the phlebotomy process, answer their questions, and log the visit in the EMR
Requirements
- Active Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) credential
- 2+ years of phlebotomy experience, ideally in a high-volume or wellness/concierge setting
- Comfortable with clinic operations and light administrative support
- Familiarity with EMR platforms such as Cerbo or Acuity is a plus
- Clear communicator who can multitask in a fast-paced startup clinic and work with minimal supervision
