About the role
SimonMed Imaging is hiring a CT Technologist in Fremont, CA to perform diagnostic CT procedures, including contrast-enhanced studies and advanced protocols, across GE, Siemens, and Philips platforms. The role includes patient-facing responsibilities with a steady, no-nights/no-weekends outpatient schedule.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT exams per physician orders and department protocols, including contrast-enhanced studies, 3D reconstructions, and cardiac imaging
- Confirm patient identity, review medical history, explain procedures, and respond quickly to any contrast reactions
- Manage your own room workflow, keep equipment ready, and troubleshoot GE, Siemens, and Philips CT systems
- Maintain real-time, accurate documentation in PACS and RIS
- Follow ALARA radiation-safety and infection-control standards
- Mentor students completing clinical rotations
Requirements
- ARRT certification in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT), required
- Current state licensure where applicable
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- 1+ year of CT experience preferred; outpatient imaging experience a plus
- Working knowledge of ALARA radiation-safety guidelines and PACS/RIS systems
- Ability to assist and position patients in a physically active clinical setting
