About the role
Greenbrook Medical is hiring a Medical Assistant for its Brooksville, FL clinic (covering the New Port Richey area), opening around October 2026. You'll run the patient visit start to finish — vitals, history, labs, EKGs — with a concierge-style, senior-focused approach, and you'll be cross-trained across the front office, back office, and labs.
Responsibilities
- Room patients and take vitals, medical history, and medication lists ahead of each visit
- Administer medications, injections, and treatments as directed by the provider
- Perform blood draws, basic labs, EKGs, and pulmonary function tests
- Keep the EMR current and coordinate scheduling and follow-up visits
- Cross-train across front office, back office, labs, and referrals so you can cover wherever you're needed
- Bring a warm, concierge-level approach to a senior-focused patient population
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a medical assistant, ideally in primary care
- Comfortable and confident with vitals, blood draws, EKGs, and basic labs
- Strong communication and organizational skills in a fast-paced clinic
- Composure under pressure and a genuine interest in working with senior patients
