About the role
Getlabs runs an at-home diagnostics platform — backed by investors including Labcorp and Quest — that sends mobile phlebotomists directly to patients' homes and offices to collect labs, vitals, and other diagnostics. Getlabs is hiring a Mobile Phlebotomist in Detroit, MI to deliver a patient-first experience on every visit.
Responsibilities
- Travel to patients' homes or offices for scheduled lab draw and diagnostic appointments
- Perform safe, accurate blood collection and proper specimen processing
- Drop off collected samples at the designated patient service center or laboratory
- Stay in close contact with the operations and patient-experience team throughout the shift
- Adapt quickly as processes evolve at a fast-growing company
Requirements
- Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency, plus a national certification (AMT, ASCP, or NCCT)
- At least 1 year of phlebotomy experience; mobile/in-home draw experience preferred
- Experience processing and handling collected samples
- Comfortable with standard office, email, and internet tools, and willing to learn new digital tools
- Strong customer-service mindset with clear written and verbal communication
- Reliable transportation and a clean driving record
- Spanish fluency a plus
