About the role

Ophelia, a telehealth startup treating opioid use disorder, is hiring an NP or PA to deliver evidence-based care remotely. You'll manage medication for OUD plus a narrow set of mental-health conditions, build individualized treatment plans, and support patients with compassionate, non-stigmatizing care. No MOUD experience required — they'll train you. Remote anywhere in the US; requires a New York license.

Responsibilities

  • Determine and adjust individualized treatment plans for patients with OUD
  • Prescribe and manage medication and monitor treatment response and side effects
  • Use motivational interviewing and behavioral interventions to keep patients engaged
  • Conduct behavioral-health evaluations for conditions like depression, anxiety, and insomnia
  • Document all encounters in Ophelia's EHR in a timely, high-quality way

Requirements

  • Board-certified NP or PA
  • Active DEA license, or willingness to obtain upon offer
  • Full license to practice in New York (NJ, PA, VA, or MD a plus)
  • Comfort in a remote telehealth environment across multiple platforms
  • Passion for serving vulnerable populations (MOUD experience not required)
