About the role
WelbeHealth is hiring a Travel Nurse Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) for its PACE program serving vulnerable seniors across California. This permanent internal-locums role lets you build deeper, long-term relationships with fewer patients than traditional care, traveling between WelbeHealth's Northern and Southern California clinics. Regular weekday hours (8–5), weekends off, and a competitive package: $193,606–$231,192/year plus quarterly bonus.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive, holistic primary care to senior PACE participants
- Build long-term relationships as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Conduct clinic and home visits across California clinics
- Participate in a light rotating on-call schedule (phone only)
Requirements
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with 2+ years serving the elderly
- Prescriptive authority and DEA registration
- Eligible to serve Medicare/Medi-Cal participants
- CPR & First Aid within 180 days of hire; able to travel throughout California
