About the role
ECC is hiring an AV Technician in Lincoln, NE — with a $2,500 sign-on bonus — to install simple-to-complex electronic and audiovisual systems. Working under a Lead Installation Technician or Foreman, you'll build racks, run and terminate cable, and represent ECC on-site with clients. It's a solid entry into professional AV integration for someone mechanically inclined who's eager to learn the trade.
Responsibilities
- Install system racks and stage equipment delivered to the job site
- Place, terminate, and label field cabling to technical standards
- Learn and apply industry wiring and installation practices
- Keep an accurate on-site inventory of installation supplies and materials
- Represent ECC professionally with clients and communicate issues to the Lead Tech
Requirements
- Basic understanding of blueprints, drawings, and mounting/rigging concepts
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tool usage and safety
- Strong mechanical aptitude and a solution-focused, organized approach
- High school diploma or GED; OSHA 10 (or obtained within 90 days); valid driver's license
- Ability to travel overnight up to 100% of the time and work evenings/weekends as needed
