About the role
Willamette Dental is hiring a Dental Assistant for its Corvallis, OR practice, with a focus on patient comfort and four-handed dentistry. You'll prep instruments and materials, assist the dentist through procedures, take and develop radiographs, and keep the sterilization area spotless. It's a full-time role on four 10-hour days paying $23–$36/hour, with a clear EFDA growth path and strong benefits.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain instruments, equipment and materials for dental procedures
- Perform four-handed dentistry and chairside assisting within your state scope
- Take and develop dental radiographs; take impressions for study casts
- Record medical history, blood pressure and pulse
- Clean and sterilize instruments and maintain an organized sterilization area
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED and credentials to function as a Dental Assistant per Oregon rules
- Oregon Dental Radiology Proficiency certification
- Oregon EFDA within 180 days of hire; sealant certification
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers
- ADA-accredited dental assisting program preferred
