About the role
Dentistry LLC is hiring a Dental Hygienist for its practice in Sierra Vista, Arizona. You'll run a full-time hygiene schedule focused on preventive and periodontal care, working alongside the practice's dentists to keep patients healthy and informed about their treatment options. New graduates of an accredited hygiene program are welcome to apply.
Responsibilities
- Deliver preventive hygiene care, including routine cleanings (prophylaxis) and periodontal maintenance
- Apply sealants and perform laser-assisted periodontal treatments
- Administer local anesthesia to keep patients comfortable during procedures
- Perform scaling and root planing for patients with periodontal disease
- Partner with the practice's dentists to co-diagnose restorative and periodontal treatment needs
- Present treatment plans and clinical findings directly to patients in plain language
Requirements
- Active Arizona dental hygiene license
- Local anesthesia certification
- Laser certification
- New graduates of an accredited dental hygiene program are encouraged to apply
