About the role
Ophelia, a telehealth company providing FDA-approved medication and clinical care for opioid use disorder, is hiring a remote Patient Support Specialist (Care Coordinator). - Resolve prescription issues and advocate with pharmacies to get prior authorizations approved
- Collect and track documentation needed to coordinate care with outside providers
- Work with Ophelia's clinical, enrollment, financial counseling, and compliance teams to remove barriers to care
- Follow company policies and maintain patient confidentiality and compliance standards
- Work independently on a defined schedule while collaborating closely with the team
Requirements
- Experience in patient or customer support, ideally in a consumer-facing telehealth setting
- Experience with pharmacy advocacy, prior authorizations, or patient records
- Strong, active listening skills and an empathetic, solution-focused approach

- Flexible to work some evenings and weekends; fixed weekly schedule includes Sunday hours
