About the role
Sequence Health (Guideway Care) is hiring a full-time remote Oncology Triage Nurse to give phone and portal-based clinical guidance to patients of oncology and specialty practices. Several shifts are offered, including weekday and Saturday–Wednesday or Wednesday–Sunday schedules, in Central and Eastern time.
Responsibilities
- Assess and triage patients by phone and portal using evidence-based protocols
- Handle inbound and outbound calls and secure portal messages
- Recommend appropriate care or escalate to the right provider
- Document assessments and care coordination in the EMR
- Support FMLA, ADA, and STD/LTD documentation
- Take part in training and onboarding through shadowing shifts
Requirements
- Active, unencumbered RN license in a compact licensure state
- BSN required
- At least 5 years of varied direct patient care (ED, L&D, critical care) and oncology experience; OCN preferred
- Remote RN triage or telephone-care experience strongly preferred
- Proficiency with EMRs (Epic, Cerner, Greenway) and standard office software
- Private HIPAA-compliant home workspace with 24 Mbps down / 4 Mbps up internet
